A member of the Canadian Bookbinders and Book Artists Guild, Joan will discuss the basics of bookbinding. Participants will also make a small, sewn, multi-signatures, cloth covered book following methods used in the Victorian era.

Basic bookbinding techniques will be used, though alternative, more professional techniques (that would require a couple of days) will be discussed. Workshop supplies and tools (and refreshments) included.
